Loc Style: Loc Knots

Unfortunately it took me waaayyyy longer to install these loc knots in my hair as opposed to Chescaleigh in her You Tube tutorial. However, not only are my locs smaller and I knotted the locs individually, it was also my first time. After the time invested (2 1/2 hrs on Monday after a long day at work!) in preparation for the curls to come, now I understand why some of the loc rockers who’ve done this style have left them in for a couple of weeks instead of days.

I’d planned to take mine down tomorrow, but maybe one more day will loc the curls in good. I’m hoping the curls will last a couple of weeks.

Pics coming soon!

Side Note: since my locs are brownish I’m going to invest in some brown rubber bands so the bands at the end aren’t do visible. Also, you don’t have to use rubber bands at the ends. You can actually knot the locs at the ends.
